I hope everyone isn't living in fear too much with all the publicity surrounding the deaths of our two friends Holly & Jessica Chapman.
Jess (as I called her) & holly were no different from any other child &b What happened was inexplicable, very rare & without warning.
We all live day to day taking risks but everyone needs to get on with their life and settle down to work and to enjoy themselves.
we can't be like couch potatos because of one small incident but if there is ever another great war things must continue and life must go on however we may feel.
Everyone will make new friends in their lives & some will always be lost but I try to understand that we must push on & try to put the past behind us.
Although I feel that Maxine betrayed the trust of the girls I understand that she would rather keep quiet in fear of upsetting the childrens parents or giving huntley a life sentence even if tabloids have a different view on the situatiion. Maybe Huntley lied about the murder like he did in court and she was naive enough to believe him.
I try and understand things but I never knew maxine & therefore couldn't say what she is like as a friend though Holly did and as far as I heard did act very peculiar at times.
I'll always remember how they laughed at little things never really taking things to heart.
I could never find Hollys conversations though they were open minded about most things and enoyed most things. No different from most kids they had fun, got bored & wanted to do things to occupy themselves whenever possible. Maybe we can learn something on what they gave to the world in their short time giving their own contribution.
I hope the days of their coursework will be kept with oliver & the parents and maybe for friends when they are grown up can reflect back on what they did & how they always made people laugh and had this ability to make friends so easily.
